Sword Fighting

Filed under: Uncategorized — Administrator at 11:47 am on Wednesday, April 30, 2008

Today Tucker started to teach Billy and I how to sword fight for the play. Billy sword-fought with Tucker and I sword-fought with Marissa. I need lots of practice. :-) I’m really bad at sword fighting.

It is raining. Billy said this morning the streams almost overflowed. It has been raining since yesterday! Rain, rain, go away! Come again another day!

Liz and Tom

Filed under: Uncategorized — Administrator at 5:48 pm on Tuesday, April 29, 2008

Yesterday for lunch we went to Tom and Liz’s house. They are Dad’s cousins. They have two dogs. One is a small white dog and the other is a yellow lab, I think. We hung out at their house until Liz finished giving Uncle Donald a haircut. After that, Liz gave me a pink purse and some necklaces. Tom showed Dad his house and all his World War II stuff.

We went out to eat at Longhorn Steakhouse. After that we said goodbye and left. I’m going to miss them. Thank you for all your hospitality!

Last night when I was just falling asleep, I heard big clangs on the motor home. This morning, we found out it was some rowdy kids paint balling at 10:30 last night. There were 3 shots of orange paint on the motor home, and one on the tan van. Paint ball guns sure hit hard! It was loud!

Four CUTE Dogs!

Yesterday I got to see Jackie and Jeff’s three dogs. They had two collies and one yellow lab shar-pei mix. I took lots of pictures. The yellow lab shar-pei mix is named Maggie. I think the boy collie’s name is Stanley, and I don’t remember what the girl collie’s name was. But they are SO cute! While we were outside, I sat on a seat and Maggie put her front paws on my lap and licked me on my face for a long time.

After that, we went to Uncle Donald’s house. Carol was there, and Carol’s husband Steve was going to arrive later with their dog. His name is Chase. Chase is a yellow lab and loves playing ball.

Romeo and Juliet

Today Dad and I left a little bit earlier then usual to go on the road again.

We got to Georgia today! Yippee! Tomorrow Dad and I are going to visit Aunt Charlotte and Uncle Donald! They are actually Dad’s uncle and aunt. They’re my great-aunt and uncle.

Today I found out that I am Sampson in Romeo and Juliet. I say the first line in the play! I have twice as many lines as last time, but I’m only talking to Billy and another guy in the play, so it’ll be easier to memorize the lines. I have about 31 lines, I think, and last time I had 18 or 15 lines. Abbey is Juliet! I think she has over 500 lines!

Bennigan’s!

Filed under: Uncategorized — Administrator at 5:42 pm on Tuesday, April 29, 2008

Right now I am in the motor home, waiting. A truck company is going to fix the motor home because it backfired or something. Today Dad and I are going to go around in the tan van staying at restaurants with outlets for Dad’s computer, so Dad can work while I do school.

Last night Dad and I drove by a Bennigan’s! For Shannon’s 10th birthday, we were in Florida, and we went to Bennigan’s for her celebration. In most restaurants they sing you a song for your birthday. They did that, except that before the song our waiter yelled “Attention Bennigan’s, today is Shannon’s 10th birthday!” It got Shannon so embarrassed! I don’t remember which song they sang though. It was about five years ago, so I have an excuse to not remember most of it! :-) From what I remember, Bennigan’s was a great and fun restaurant!

On The Road Again.

Dad and I left the campground around 4pm and went to a Walmart.

When we got to the Walmart, Dad and I went to watch the sunset again. We came a little bit before supper so we packed a supper. While I was eating my sandwich a seagull tried to get my sandwich! It’s wing hit my head. It pretty much bombed me. It was surprising but funny! After supper Dad worked on his computer while I read a book.

After awhile we went on a walk along the beach. We saw lots of pelicans! Two of them were dive bombing for fish! It was really cool! I saw one fish in the pelicans mouth! Dad and I got the webcam out and called Shannon, Billy, Abbey and Mom. They got to watch the sunset with us! But it didn’t come out as clear for them as it did for us. After that Dad and I left the beach.

When we got back to the Walmart we connected the tan van to the tow dolly then we left for a different Walmart about two hours north. We were trying to find a place to stop on the way because the motor home was back firing. When thought we found a place to park but the road led to a farm instead. We thought we would have had to turn around the motor home (which is VERY hard to do on a small road) but Dad found out that the road went back around. Phew! After we went around I helped Dad find his way find his way back to the highway.

Around midnight we got to the next Walmart.

Busch Gardens

On Sunday night I slept over at Kelsey’s house.

When we woke up, Kelsey and I had breakfast. Kelsey had cereal and I had cinnabuns. We left to go to Busch Gardens around 9:45am.

When we got to Busch Gardens we walked around and we went on almost all the roller coaster rides except for a ride called Sheikra. Aunt Sue didn’t go on any of the roller coasters though. I think the scariest one was Montu. Our feet dangled and we went into pitch black tunnels! It was totally AWESOME! As Montu started while we were on it someone shouted “We’re going to die!”. After the ride Kelsey said to Aunt Sue and I “That was comforting”. I thought it was pretty funny! Busch Gardens also has an animal place!

We went on a train and Kelsey took lots of good pictures of Rhinos, Cantaloupe, Flamingos, white tigers, colored tigers, parrots and much more! Soon Kelsey will send me her pictures. I took some on my cell phone.

Me next to a big garden that is shaped as a bald eagle!

Kelsey sitting next to the flower bald eagle!

A cool pink and white bird and behind it is a really weird looking bird!

A flower Butterfly!

Another flower Butterfly!

When Kelsey, Aunt Sue and I entered Busch Gardens there were two clowns. Here is the guy clown. Isn’t he cool?

I am on a Komodo dragon statue.

Kelsey on the Komodo dragon statue.

I just hatched out of an egg! Just kidding, it’s fake. :-)

Kelsey hatched too! We must be related! :-)

Here is a duck we saw as we walked over a little bridge.

Two ducks!

I like this pretty place.

Another pretty place! You can see a roller coaster in the background!

FLAMINGOS!

More flamingos! The two white birds are swans!

Swans are so pretty!

Parrots! I love all the colors on these parrots!

Again, those coloful parrots!

Blue parrots! I think they are helping each other clean themselves.

I think this is a parrot. I almost got to hold this parrot but it wouldn’t come to my hand because I had no food.

We went on a train. This a mud river we passed.

ZEBRAS!!!

Zebras are so cool! I love their stripes.

Phew, that was A LOT of pictures! I wish I could show you the picture of me and a HUGE alligator, but Kelsey has the only picture.

Meeting Addison

Filed under: Uncategorized — Administrator at 12:38 pm on Friday, April 4, 2008

Last night Dad and I went to the Stefan’s again. I already met Connor, but last night I got to meet Addison! She is SOO cute! Kelsey and I went swimming until it was time to eat supper.

We had chicken, corn, sweet potato and salad. I only had the corn and chicken though.

After supper Kelsey and I showed Addison a stuffed duck that played music but if you held it by the neck it would make choking sounds. It is so funny! Kelsey and I watched TV until cousin Jim, Connor and Addison had to leave. I got a kiss from Connor and Addison! :-)

Kelsey and I played Egyptian Ratscrew. I always thought it was called Egyptian Rat’s Stew. Kelsey and I didn’t get to finish it but we went back and forth with lots of cards but Kelsey had to go take a shower and she had the most cards at that moment so she won! While Kelsey took a shower I watched a show called “Are you Smarter then an 5th grader?” It was kind of funny! After that Dad and I said goodbye and then we left. Tonight for supper we are going to go out to eat! Yippee!!! Here is a picture of Kelsey. I hope I can get a picture of Addison and Connor this weekend.

Fun at the Beach

Filed under: Uncategorized — Administrator at 4:11 pm on Thursday, April 3, 2008

Yesterday afternoon Dad and I went to go get the tan van. On our way back we saw the coolest thing! A pelican just gliding right next to the bridge! It was so big and cool! It was so close! If we slowed down I could of almost touched it! I wish I got a picture but I didn’t. :-(

Later that night we went to the beach. It was just before sunset so Dad and I took a walk and I collected some cool shells. The sun started to set so I took lots of pictures of it!

This is it just before it started to turn red or golden!

This is it starting to turn red!

I really like this picture!

The sun looks so small in this picture!

Those are two pelicans sitting and sometimes spreading out their wings on that sign thing.

Dad and I took pictures of each other by the sunset. Our faces look a little dark though.
Me!

Dad!

After that we headed to the board walk. I took some pictures of the clouds because they looked really cool!

I am not used to palm trees so I had to take a picture of the palm trees too!

I also liked the how white the sand was, so I tried to get some seagull foot prints.

Phew! I love pictures! Here is a picture of the board walk!

I had lots of fun there! The beach is the perfect place to take pictures! Especially when the sun is setting!

Dad and I went to a fire guy show too! But I didn’t get to take any good pictures. But the funny thing was he had some sort of liquid in a bottle. It made everyone back up because we thought it was flammable, and we thought he was going to set it on fire around him, but then he spelled out “This is H2.0″ with the rest of the water. :-) He had us all tricked! But he said he had great crowd control with that. He also said that no one was aloud to pass the line because it was his stage area.

My Cousin is a Fish!

Filed under: Uncategorized — Administrator at 2:26 pm on Thursday, April 3, 2008

Yesterday Dad and I went to the Stefan’s. Kelsey and I got changed into our bathing suits and then we went swimming in the pool. We probably got in the pool around 5:15pm. Kelsey showed me all her tricks in the water! I also found out Connor is good at jumping on the pool then swimming to Aunt Sue! I said in my mind “Wow, it sure seems like my second cousins are fish!” Kelsey let me borrow her extra goggles and we played a game until around 6:20pm, then we had supper.

It was really good lasagna! We also had sprite. YUM!!! Good job, Aunt Sue! It is hard to believe it was one of those instant box kind of things! After supper Kelsey and I went into the pool again. It was probably around 7pm.

We swam until 7:45pm continuing our game. We had to get ready to leave so I got changed while Kelsey took a shower. After Kelsey’s shower we said good bye then left. I found out that we are going to visit them Thursday and then I get to sleepover on Friday!!! I am so excited!
