My Wonderful Life

Someone New

Filed under: Uncategorized — Administrator at 3:26 pm on Friday, March 30, 2007

Today we went to co-op. There was a new person there. His name was Daniel. We studied states. We studied thenortheastern states.

After states, we went to have a snack. When everyone finished having their snack, we played in the gym. I played with Billy, Connor and Daniel. We played soccer with a soccer ball and played keep away. Connor and I were kind of on a team, and sometimes I would pass to Billy, but he usually stole it from me, so I didn’t want be on his team. I always tried to steal from Daniel because he was SO good at soccer. I was still able to steal from him. I wish I was better at handling the ball.

For gym, we warmed up. I was really hot, and so was Connor, Daniel and Billy, who played soccer much longer then I did. We played kick ball. It was fun, but I never got to make it home, because if you kick, and it hits two walls, you’re out, and I kept doing that.

After gym we had Spanish. I really like Spanish. I’ve learned a lot from doing Spanish. We reviewed what we knew. We also talked a little bit about what we would do for the end of the year thing.

When Spanish was over, we had lunch. I had one half of a tuna sandwich, strawberries and cream diet Pepsi. It was GOOD!

When everyone was finished eating, we did science. We studied about simple machines.

Mrs. Crawford had to take Garret somewhere, so Mom watched us and the Crawford kids. We got to play for awhile, and then we had to leave.

A New Place For Our Footwear

Yesterday Dad bought some shelves for Tim and Billy to put up. Dad wanted the shelves for our footwear. Now we don’t have any shoes on the floor! Our footwear used to take up a lot of room, but now it doesn’t. We had some extra room one the shelves, so Dad put Billy’s models on it so when people visit they can admire them. Here is a picture of the shelves.

They look crooked. It is the way Tim set it up, and he liked it, so we kept it that way.

Finger Game

Last night at youth group there were only a few people, compared to the usual amount of people. Shannon, Kevin, Sheri, Abbey, Billy, Tim, Shonah, Brooke, Denae, Rebekah, Paul, Halie and I. It was still fun though.

When we got there, everyone was outside and was playing kickball. I went on Brooke’s team, with Tim, Denae, Abbey, and Paul. Our team lost. Kevin made us do ten sit ups or ten push ups. I did push ups, because I have a bruised tail bone, so sit ups hurt.

When we finished we did Bible verses. Abbey won (as usual), and Brooke was second.

Before we studied, we we all had to balance on one leg and holding the other leg with our hand, and then close our eyes. It was hard. Shannon came in first, Shonah came in second, I came in third. It was tiring to my ankle.

After we did the study, we paired up and we had to face our partners. I was with Halie. I beat Halie. So I went to the winners area. When everyone who won finished, we each challenged someone again. Shonah was my partner. Shonah beat me. I had to go sit down on a bench in the corner, and then Sheri came over where I was because she beat someone. After awhile, we went over to another part of the room and I challenged Tim. Tim totally beat me. I was out of the tournament. I played with Denae, Rebekah, and Halie while we waited for the final tournament. Kevin made us all crowd around the people playing the last round. We all had to be very quiet. Shannon was third place, Shonah was second, and Tim was first! When everyone was finished congratulating Tim, we had a snack. Then we went home.

Lego Creativity

Yesterday Billy and I put together some Lego’s. I wanted to make two bases, one good and one evil. The smaller one is evil, because the evil one can’t buy many items without being caught. I have not finished yet, but I am almost done. I need to find a new guy for the good base and I am going to add on cool stuff I find. I took some pictures of the bases.

More Knitting!

Yesterday, Shannon taught me how to cast on and cast off! Now I can knit on my own! I don’t need to wait for Mom or Shannon to cast on or cast off. I can knit now! Rachel from church let me borrow some of her yarn. I am knitting with the tan yarn she let me borrow. So far I have eight squares. Soon I am going to sew seven of them in a row. I really like knitting. Whenever I am bored I can knit. :-)

Billy’s Best Drawing!

Billy is drawing a picture based on the picture on his coloring pencils box. It is a very pretty picture. I am surprised at how good Billy is doing on it! Billy thinks it is his best drawing. I agree. It is also my favorite of all his pictures. Here are some pictures of his drawing so far!

Billy amazes me with how good his drawings are. Billy wants to be an artist when he grows up. I think he will definitely be an artist at the rate he is drawing.

Salty Water is Disgusting

Yesterday afternoon I found out that I had something in the back of my throat. It feels like a piece of food, but it would have come out after awhile. This didn’t. I showed it to Mom, and Mom said something was stuck in my tonsil. So now I have to gargle really salty water daily. 8O It tastes DISGUSTING!

Sledding and Not Getting Hurt

Filed under: Uncategorized — Administrator at 12:13 pm on Thursday, March 22, 2007

Yesterday I went sledding with Billy and Shannon, and this time I didn’t get hurt! I had so much fun! We played lots of games to try and get up the icy hill. We went home when the sun was setting, because we can’t stay outside when the sun already has been set. I love sledding on ice, whether I had an bad experience or not.

Seven Injuries

Filed under: Uncategorized — Administrator at 1:54 pm on Tuesday, March 20, 2007

Yesterday Billy and I went sledding. The top layer of snow had ice on it, so it was very slippery. I had to sometimes pull myself up using the footprints in the ice. So I got some little cuts in my wrist.

I thought it was a great idea to go down the iciest part of the hill with a sled, but it was not such a great idea. I went down first, and I went really fast, and when I got near the trees my sled got stuck in between two trees, and then I slid off the sled, almost hitting another tree. I hit my right upper leg really hard, and it hurt when I walked. I bumped my head on the tree, and got a scrape on my temple and a bruise on it too. I also got hit in the back, so now I have a bruise on my back and a scrape just like the on one my temple. I also bruised my tail bone. It was bruised before, but it is worse now. Somehow I hit the side of my hip, and now it is bruised.

Here is a a list of my seven injuries.

1. Scratches from the ice on wrist.
2. Scratch and bruise on temple.
3. Bruised tail bone.
4. Bruised upper leg.
5. Bruise on back.
6. Scratch on back.
7. Bruised Hip

Here is a picture of my scratch on my temple.

Snow Storm and Eating Ice Cream

Filed under: Uncategorized — Administrator at 8:40 am on Monday, March 19, 2007

On Friday there was a snow storm. That very same day, Gifford’s Ice Cream was opening. So, they were giving away the ice cream free. Dad decided that we could go with Dad to pick up Mom, and then go to Gifford’s Ice Cream. When we got to Gifford’s, it had so many customers! We got to say “Hi!” to one of the homeschooling families we knew. I ordered chocolate chip ice cream. I got my ice cream first, and when I got it a Sun Journal photographer got Dad’s permission, and took picture’s of Dad and I freezing and eating ice cream. And, Mom got the Sun Journal yesterday, and found me and Dad in the newspaper! That was the first time I ever got in the newspaper! There were two pictures of me. One that was in color, but small, and there was a big one that was not colored. I am so happy! I have both of the pictures that Mom found on the fridge. :-D
