This year is my first time playing for Leavitt Area High School. It’s pretty fun! :)

Yesterday we had a scrimmage against Edward Little (Auburn) and we won. :D The score was 3-2. I did the first assist and Taylor scored, then Shelby scored, and then Katlyn scored. It was great! I played right wing and left midfield and stopper. It was SO much fun!

Gabe has really nice eyes!

Doug didn’t have a clue what to do with Gabe. He was so curious from the noises Gabe made.

Rain- I Mean- Summer Vacation

Filed under: Uncategorized — Administrator at 2:40 pm on Tuesday, June 23, 2009

We started summer vacation Friday, June 12th. :-) It’s been raining since. We had about three sunny days, though but then it rained the night of the sunny day. Not fun. I can’t wait till it’s sunny again!

On the 13th of June we had a Teenpact get-together. It was AWESOME! I was so glad to see lots of my good friends! Thank you Elisabeth for planning it! It was a nice sunny day too! But you’ll never guess what it did that night. It rained.

We spent the night in a Walmart parking lot in the RV then we went to the Hollen’s church in Portland. It was nice to see the Hollen’s. When church was over we stayed in the parking lot for awhile then we drove home.

Nothing much big has happened since. Except rain. Shannon and I are doing summer soccer. Billy was going to but he sprained his ankle. It was getting better so he played in his baseball game but he sprained it again so Mom and Dad don’t want him to play summer soccer or the rest of baseball to keep it safe.

Wednesday is our first soccer game. :-)

Today we are going to go shopping at Target, then Billy and I are going to the LaChance’s house to sleepover! Yay!

On Friday us Clarke girls went and slept over at the Sepulveda’s house. On Saturday we we went to Fort Williams and had a blast with all the other Teenpacters! Thank you Elisabeth for planning the whole thing.

Tonight I am going to Billy’s baseball game to take pictures of him and his team play baseball. I’m really excited!

I just turned 14 yesterday and my family gave me some gifts. :-) I got a jewelry box with the word LOVE on it with pictures of my family in the letters from Shannon. I also got chapstick from Shannon. Mom and Dad bought me a new drawing pad. Shannon also got me a water bottle thing. Abbey bought me two pairs of jeans that I got to pick out. :-) I still need to buy something for Billy.

Amazing Birthday Gift!

Here are some of my favorite pictures.

Win Against Mt. Ararat!

Filed under: Uncategorized — Administrator at 1:22 pm on Friday, June 5, 2009

Yesterday I had a game at Mt. Ararat. It was really fun! I played the whole game in Right Field. :-) First time I batted I hit the ball and made it to first, second time I batted I got walked, the third time I batted I got walked again. Our score was 14-3! :-) Tomorrow we have a game against Oxford Hills. They have only lost once this season against Auburn. On Friday I have another game against Lewiston. We did the mercy rule on them last time.

Tonight Abbey has her first performance for Love’s Labour’s Lost! Woot! I can’t wait! I have softball practice today so hopefully I’ll have a ride to SMASH. If not, I’ll have to take the late bus and walk home from Greene Central School. But if Meg (a friend of ours in the play) can stop by the school on her way to the play and pick up Shannon and I so we can be stage crew. I really hope I can be stage crew!

Second Win Against Brunswick

Filed under: Uncategorized — Administrator at 1:21 pm on Thursday, June 4, 2009

Yesterday was our first game in over a week. It was against Brunswick at Brunswick. We beat them with a score of 16-5. :-) Coach put me in at second base for the first half of the game. :-D It was so much fun! Kara, who normally plays catcher, played short stop and did great!

Today I have another game this time it is against Mt. Ararat! We haven’t played them yet because it rained so much. I have game every day this week except Wednesday unless I hear otherwise.

Fantastic Fun!

On Friday, my Mt. Ararat game was canceled so I went to S.M.A.S.H instead. That was fun! I watched people rehearse some and then I hung out with Olivia downstairs for a bit. While everyone was leaving Evan reminded me that that night was the night we planned a sleepover but it didn’t work out transportation wise. It was because Billy had baseball on Saturday morning and I had a game that same evening but my game was canceled. I ended up sleeping over at Olivia and Evan’s house. :-D It was awesome!

When we got home we went upstairs and held Evan’s hamster named Blondie. We were going to go to a softball game for Cony (Augusta’s highschool) but it got rained out. We went to Home Depot and the grocery store instead. When we got back to the Lachances we watched Indiana Jones. After the movie we went to bed. Olivia and I talked for awhile then fell asleep.

When we woke up, we quickly got changed and went down stairs and ate breakfast. After breakfast we left. When we got to the softball field, we helped Mr. Lachance prepare the field. When the game started Evan and I watched. It was exciting! Olivia played outfield, first base, and pitcher.

After the game we went back to the Lachance’s house and then we went to SMASH.

Rain, Rain Go Away.

Filed under: Uncategorized — Administrator at 1:11 pm on Tuesday, June 2, 2009

I really hope the rain goes away soon. It’s the end of our softball season and I hope no more of our games will get canceled. Just one practice has been canceled which is better then a game being canceled. We’ll see if today’s practice is canceled again.

SMASH (Southern Maine Association of Shakespearean Homeschoolers) is performing Love’s Labour’s Lost June 3, 4, 5 at 6:30pm and June 6th at 2:00pm. Abbey is in the play. She has a small part as a forester but then on Friday June 5th she is going to be Armado which is a bigger part. She is an understudy for Tucker who is playing Armado all the other nights. Shannon, Billy and I are stage crew. Shannon may not be able to help though because she is on Varsity softball. Samantha who helped us with stage crew last year is going to help us with stage crew along with her brother Nate.
